Fidesz wins third Parliamentary elections in 2014


The Fidesz–KDNP alliance, preserved its two-thirds majority (133 of the 199 seats), with Viktor Orbán remaining Prime Minister. His second consecutive term was marked by significant anti-immigration policies and repeated attacks against billionare George Soros. In an annual speech at Baile Tusnad, Romania, Orban famously introduced the concept of illiberal democracy.
